Optical Heart Rate Accuracy
Workout 1 - Half Murph
This was the first test of the Optical versus a H10 Chest Strap using Polar Beat. It fared reasonable versus the Average Heart Rate, but failed to capture the Peak Heart Rate Zone time, and thus had a lower TRIMP or exertion score for the workout. This will cause the Load Tracking to lag reality, and needs to watched.
Additionally it seemed like because I was using 'Outdoor Other Cardio' training profile to capture GPS it may have more significantly lagged in HR due to NOT moving during the Pull Up, Push Up, Air Squat portion.

Workout 2 - DB Snatches, DUs, and SA Thrusters
This was the second test of the Optical versus a H10 Chest Strap. It again fared reasonable versus the Average Heart Rate, but also again failed to capture the Peak Heart Rate Zone time, and thus had a lower TRIMP or exertion score for the workout. This will again cause the Load Tracking to lag reality.

Workout 3 - Lighter Basic Calisthenics
This workout was an easy warm up exercise done with some friends at F3. The heart rate doesn’t get as high so the Optical holds up better, but there was still differentiation on the HR fluctuation along the way.
Workout 4 - Power Cleans, Push Ups, and Wall Balls
10 rounds of each, followed by some ab work at the end. The Grit kept pretty significantly below pace on HR tracking. The Average HR was close, but the lack of assessing the Zone 5 is clearly continuing to bring the Trimp, or workout exertion level way down, missing 38% of effective work evaluation.

Workout 6 - Push Ups, Deadlifts, Hang PCs, & Push Jerks
In this workout I did 100 Push Ups for time, followed by 10 rounds of Deadlifts, Hang Power Cleans, Push Jerks, and Push Ups, followed by 50 Push Up burn out. The Grit unfortunately failed rather miserably, missing the entire Peak Zone, thus affecting the Trimp output, and therefore the True Load accumulation.

Workout 7 - SA DB Snatches, Push Ups, Thrusters, Box Jumps
The Grit held up better in this workout - maintaining better HR versus the average, but the 945 is still keeping much better pace with a chest strap.

Workout 8 - DB Snatches, DB Press, Bent Over Rows, Push Ups, Air Squats
The Grit X held up better in this workout than in previous ones, and the Garmin 945 continued to provide even more accuracy. This workout was in two parts - first a declining rep scheme 10-9-8... of DB Hang Snatches and DB Seated Press - then second was 18 min AMRAP of bent over rows, push ups, and air squats.

Workout 9 - DUs, Push Ups, Squats, Hang SA DB OHS, Walking OH Lunges
This was a short workout, with a lighter 4 rounds of 30 DU, 15 Air squats, 10 Push Ups - followed by some DB Squat Snatch work - then a Metcon of 6 rounds of Push Ups, Hang DB SA Snatch, and Overhead Walking Lunge
