Open 20.4
Here I did half of the open 20.5 workout, starting at the 16 minute mark. The heart rate set up fine, but the movements aren’t very straining on the wrist. Overall it handled it well, and obviously handled the assault bike ad on I did for the last portion.
Open 20.5
Workout tracked well - I started the WOD at almost the 20 min point exactly. I’ve been finding him recently that the heart rate will just not track for periods of time and then pick back up, but it always seems to hold up on the rate heart rate levels during the more intense times.
100 Burpees
A little total fail on this one. Did 100 burpees for time then light assault bike workout. I would’ve been really upset if this heart rate failure occurred during a more lengthy or important workout.
Core WOD
Basic workout across basic modalities. Watch did great - held HR pace fairly well. Started 21 min WOD at 8:51
Tabata Bike then Assault 20s on/10s off
This was brief workout w 1 min warm up then 9 & 9 of work on each component followed by 1 min cool down. HR did okay but didn’t capture short intervals in detail. This exposes that the HR sensor is good but incapable of rapid changes.
Sleep Tracking
I’ve found the sleep tracking via the AutoSleep app to be very accurate when compared to the Whoop 3.0, which has great accuracy than most devices out there.
I’m really beginning to love the detail this App provides. The Readiness score has been really helpful, the sleep deficit aspect, and it’s been excellent for overall statistics tracking.
