What the heck actually works? Many fitness trackers contain Optical Heart Rate monitoring, but almost none accurately track the intensity and fluctuation of heart rate in a CrossFit or HIIT workout, and especially fail with the multiple exertions in and around the wrist.

What other features do I need? The main items of interest to most athletes are VO2 Max, relative intensity from one workout to the next, overall exercise load, and heart rate. Things like music, smart notifications, heart rate zones, compass, weather, stairs, and stress.
|
Where do I find it for the best price? There is always Amazon, electronic stores, and traditional online websites, but often times you can locate a good deal for a quality device through other means.

How do I track multiple movements? This is one of the greatest challenges.
